The printer ' s print head directly heats the thermal

paper label and blackens the characters .

Choosing the appropriate label

Direct thermal label on a roll

1 Check the core diameter ( E ) and the outside diameter ( F )

suitable for your printer .

2 Choose the format of your label :

Perforation : small format labels , often used in automatic application , are supplied

on continuous rolls . To facilitate the manual use of medium and large format labels ,

a micro - perforation is provided between each label .
